Our History
Established in 1991 under the Enugu State Water Corporation Edict, governed by the 1997 enactment and 1999 amendment, and further guided by the existing State Water Law CAP 76 Volume III, 2004, the Enugu State Water Corporation serves as both a water service provider and an engaged community participant.
We want to provide sustainable water supply services to all urban and rural communities in the state. Over the years, we have grown from drop to drop, expanding our operations and investing in modern technology to improve service delivery. Through outreach programs, water conservation initiatives, and educational campaigns, we also actively promote awareness of clean water importance. In recent years, the Water Corporation has continued its mission to improve water access in Enugu.
This has involved embracing modern technologies, implementing eco-friendly practices, and working closely with local authorities to meet the city's growing water demands.
